Jennifer leads the firm’s Corporate practice, which includes tax planning and preparation for various types of corporate entities, including privately held C and S corporations, partnerships and LLCs. She advises clients on choice of entity considerations, accounting systems design and implementation, retirement plan options, and business succession/asset sale transaction structuring. Jennifer also provides outsourced controller functions to businesses, and prepares and reviews individual income tax returns.
Jennifer began her career in the audit department of Price Waterhouse (now PwC) in Boston where she worked for five years serving clients primarily in the financial services and real estate industries. Jennifer then transitioned to work in the private sector for five years as the Controller for AT&T Capital Leasing Services, Inc. In this capacity, she oversaw the accounting group for an $8 billion lease and loan portfolio. After taking several years off to raise her family full-time, Jennifer re-entered the workforce in 2007 and worked for several local CPA firms preparing income tax returns, as well as, performing a limited number of financial statement audit and review engagements.
Jennifer lives in Acton, MA with her husband and two sons. She volunteers at her sons’ schools and is a PTO Board member. In her spare time, Jennifer plays competitive tennis and co-ed softball. She also enjoys gardening, playing golf with her family and traveling.
